FAQ's:

What is Pollinator Week? Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health. The transfer of pollen is an important stage in the life cycle of flowering plants. More than 80% of all flowering plant species need help from animals to move their pollen for fertilization. Without pollination, many of the foods we eat would no longer be available. Unfortunately, pollinator populations have been declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. Pollinator Week is all about raising awareness about pollinators and spreading word about what we can do to protect them.

Where & What is Pollinator Garden? Located in the Village of Streetsville, a beautifully inviting community in Mississauga.

The Streetsville Pollinator Showcase Garden officially opened in May 2018, and is home to a variety of native perennial flowers and plants that provide pollinating species, predominately bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, with a healthy pollinator environment.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS: Please note should mother nature not wish to cooperate with us on this date, the experience will be rescheduled to the following Saturday, June 29th.
